Objectives
To develop the manual and handcraft activities; protect the forests, the environment and promote ecological agriculture
- To restore and maintain the rich and colorful heritage e.g the monuments
- To give special attention to the reconstruction of schools and out-dated markets
- To promote cultural and social exchange as a basis for nurturing a culture of peace
- Carry out rural activities/works in order to prevent the rural exodus
- Give preference to the professional training of the youth
- Fight against drugs and drug addiction
JHL International's major concern is the promotion of a lifestyle centred around mutual solidarity and co-operation.
In order to achieve its goal JHL International expects;
- To participate in the workforce thanks to its volonteers with the completion of diverse projects of public interest made possible by all of the international volunteer workings and volunteer participation that has been organised by the organisation, local village groups and other organisations for a long time
- To exchange knowledge and experiences of the volunteer workers with desirous organisations that have similar activities
- To welcome people, groups, students and desirous organisations who can contribute to the workforce by carrying out work on the construction sites or to welcome people for cultural exchange activities with the goal of creating a positive outlook on cultural differences
- To listen to the youth attentively and organise structures that cater for their specific needs
- To request financial aid in order to complete necessary projects and to support the initiatives of youth groups that prioritise the well being of the population
